Activities Support Staff
About The Position
We are seeking a reliable, independent, and flexible individual to join our Activities Department as an Activities Support Staff Member for the summer season. This role is key to keeping our resort’s activity areas safe, tidy and ready for guests to enjoy. This position has a focus on supporting all day-to-day operations and activity preparation with the department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, likes variety in their workday, and can adapt to different tasks as needed. Requirements
- Must be reliable and able to consistently follow a daily schedule
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs or unexpected tasks during the day
- Enjoys working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform light physical labor throughout the shift
- Must be at least 18 years old
Responsibilities
- Perform morning rounds to prepare activity areas, including: Leaf blowing the mini golf course Raking the volleyball courts Picking up balls around the basketball courts and gaga ball pits Cleaning out the mining operation at the tennis center
- Assist with general upkeep and light maintenance of activity facilities
- Serve as a floater within the department to fill in for absent staff or provide extra help at events
- Help with leading hikes, walks, or other guided activities as needed
- Assist in running family events and special programs when required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the department’s success
