About the position
As an Activities Assistant (Life Enrichment Assistant), you provide daily activity programs for the residents and assist the Activities Coordinator (Life Enrichment Coordinator) in providing a full range of program services. Because you are always in contact with residents and families, and to guarantee their satisfaction, this position requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily activity programs for residents.
- Assist the Activities Coordinator in providing a full range of program services.
- Ensure resident and family satisfaction through effective communication.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia and appropriate therapeutic/behavioral interventions.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
