This role is key to providing engaging, resident-centered activities that promote dignity, independence, and a sense of community. Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement meaningful activity programs Coordinate outings, group activities, and one-on-one engagement Participate in care planning, assessments, and discharge planning Communicate with residents, families, staff, and outside agencies Oversee and mentor activity staff to ensure quality programming Ensure compliance with state and federal activity regulations Participate in facility committees such as Quality Assurance and Safety Maintain accurate documentation of activity services and resident progress Qualifications Activity Director Certification required High school diploma or equivalent One year of experience in long-term care activities preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Compassionate and resident-focused Why Ridgeway Post Acute At Ridgeway Post Acute, you will join a supportive, team-oriented culture where your creativity and leadership make a lasting impact.
