About The Position
We are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Director to plan, coordinate, and lead meaningful activities that enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
Requirements
- Ability to pass drug and background checks
- Clean-cut and professional appearance
- Basic computer literacy
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or senior care preferred (but not required)
Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and leading group and one-on-one activities for residents
- Developing monthly activity calendars that meet resident interests and needs
- Encouraging resident participation and promoting social engagement
- Assisting with special events, holidays, and community involvement
- Documenting participation and maintaining required activity records
- Collaborating with nursing, therapy, and administrative staff
- Ensuring activities comply with state and federal regulations
- Assisting residents with mobility and transport to activities as needed
