Establishes and maintains a stimulating program of activities which are of interest and benefit to the Independent Living Residents and encompass intellectual, creative, physical and social activities. Must be able to organize special events and plan a calendar of monthly events at varying times of the day to include many Residents and their families. Must have skills to publish events in a monthly newsletter as well as plan ahead quarterly. Finds and secures vendors to support the various activities and manage the activities budget. Maintains appropriate contact with Residents who are not as social through various means (calls, cards, one-on-one meetings). Responsible for understanding the general offerings of Royal Oaks to provide tours when necessary. Responsible for welcoming Residents to Royal Oaks. Helps perform data entry of marketing information. Assists Retirement Counselor with marketing events onsite and offsite as needed
