What You’ll Do Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Activities department operations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations. Design activity programs tailored to residents’ interests and physical, mental, and psychological well-being based on comprehensive assessments. Create programs that promote socialization, entertainment, relaxation, fulfillment, and daily living skills improvement. Work includes weekends and may involve managing the facility’s volunteer program. Perform various tasks and duties as assigned to support the department and facility goals.

Requirements

  • Must have a current American Heart Association approved BLS card within 3 months of employment and maintain it throughout employment.
  • Requires a current Colorado Driver’s License and a clean DMV record.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a long term care setting or related area preferred.
