About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid drivers license with clear driving record
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to complete required state trainings within set timeframes

Nice To Haves

  • Activity Coordinator certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead group and individual recreational activities based on each individual’s interests and abilities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create meaningful, person-centered programs
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on activity delivery and engagement techniques
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals served
  • Maintain curriculum binders with age-appropriate, engaging activities
