About The Position

Proudly Serving Those Who Served! We are currently hiring an Activities CNA at our new skilled nursing facility for veterans in Cleveland, Tennessee. Essential job functions of the Activities CNA include, but are not limited to, assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating activity programs, collaborate with the Activities Director to develop monthly activity calendars that reflect the needs, preferences and abilities of residents, lead and facilitate group activities, such as games, crafts, music, etc., maintain accurate records of resident participation, preferences and feedback for future activity planning, involve residents or family members in the planning process, participate in community planning related to facility interest and resident needs and assist other staff as needed. Requirements

  • Candidate must have a current & active Nursing Aide Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating activity programs
  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop monthly activity calendars that reflect the needs, preferences and abilities of residents
  • Lead and facilitate group activities, such as games, crafts, music, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation, preferences and feedback for future activity planning
  • Involve residents or family members in the planning process
  • Participate in community planning related to facility interest and resident needs
  • Assist other staff as needed
