About The Position

The Activities Attendant at Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark is responsible for promoting and facilitating engaging activities and programs for guests, ensuring a fun and memorable experience while maintaining high standards of guest service and safety. This role involves direct interaction with guests, assisting with inquiries, and executing various recreational and educational activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Previous energetic customer service experience.
• Previous activities or daycare coordinator experience.
• Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist, promote, and facilitate all activities and programs for the Pool and Indoor activities.
• Bring fun and entertainment to guests.
• Answer guests' questions regarding the Resort Activities Program and local attractions.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards.
• Organize and participate in recreational and educational activities, such as games, drawing, handcrafts, and facilitating show activities.
• Monitor facility use to ensure guest safety.
• Perform general activities as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.
• Use suggestive sales techniques to process orders for rental of Cabanas and assist guests with questions.
