About The Position

As an Activities Associate at Club Wyndham Palm Aire Resort, your primary role will be to organize and lead recreational activities, ensuring guests enjoy their vacations and create lasting memories. You will work in coordination with the Activities Supervisor to operate all activity-related areas, including the movie theater, fitness center, pool and cabana, banquet rooms, and tanning rooms. Key responsibilities include creating, planning, and executing guest activity programs, monitoring and assisting guests in the activity center, promoting and registering guests for resort activities, and conducting inspections of activity areas to ensure compliance with company standards. You will also be responsible for managing a cash bank following proper cashiering procedures when applicable, attending and completing required resort and company trainings, and handling all safety issues and incidents immediately. Requirements

Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
State driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Depending on the location, one or more of these certifications or ability to become certified: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card.

Responsibilities

Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
