Activities Assistant

Chesapeake Place Senior Living is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team and contribute to the vibrant community we provide for our residents. The Activities Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by organizing and facilitating engaging activities that promote social interaction, physical well-being, and emotional support. In this role, you will assist with planning and implementing events and activities, including group activities, sing-a-longs, and exercise classes. You will also conduct activity programs as assigned and assist residents with gardening projects, fostering a sense of community and connection among our residents. Additionally, you will help with decorations for holidays and special occasions, creating a festive and welcoming environment. Your ability to engage and redirect seniors, particularly those with dementia, will be essential in ensuring that all residents feel included and valued in our community.
