Your Role as an Activities Assistant: Assist in planning, developing, and implementing engaging daily activity programs Encourage and support resident participation through regular visits and relationship-building Lead and facilitate group and individual activities as scheduled Assist in gathering resident interests and contributing to individualized activity care plans Document resident participation and progress in activities Collaborate with other departments to coordinate programs and special events Participate in resident council meetings and provide support as needed Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for residents Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines Attend required trainings, in-services, and team meetings What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age Previous experience in activities or a healthcare setting preferred, but not required Energetic, creative, and compassionate personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to remain calm and patient in emotionally demanding situations Comfortable working with elderly individuals, including those who may be ill or cognitively impaired Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents as needed Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Ability to read, write, and speak English Your Next Step Starts Here! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Energetic, creative, and compassionate personality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
