1. Assists director in planning and carrying out a program of activities which will provide entertainment, inter-communication, exercise, relaxation, opportunity to express creative talent, and fulfill basic psychological, social and spiritual needs, and which will be available to all residents, subject to written restrictions and limitations. 2. Encourages and provides craft activities among residents in groups or individually in recreation areas or in residents’ rooms. 3. Encourages residents to participate in religious activities to full their basic and spiritual needs. 5. Visits non ambulatory residents, writes letters for them, provides one-on-one visits, runs errands and assists residents to church services within limitations, etc. Reads to residents or provides reading material as appropriate. Provides activities appropriate for the individual resident. 6. Oversees and initiates volunteer groups in the various activity programs.
