About The Position

Join our family of professionals at Pleasantview Care Center, a 162-bed skilled nursing facility. Having served the Parma community for 50 years, the facility offers personal, medical, and rehabilitation assistance, along with Legacy Place Parma, a full service assisted living. Summary The primary purpose of the Activities Assistant position is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the Activities Director. Requirements

  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Flexibility in scheduling & working every other weekend is required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a long-term care environment preferred but will consider those with other customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Activities Director in implementing programs of individual & group activities based on residents' needs and preferences
  • Assist and implement facility and community events
  • Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner
  • Implement evening and weekend activities as assigned
