About The Position
The Activities Assistant is responsible in assisting with the activities program at Scenic Living Communities. Has the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for resident centered care. This is a part-time position offering 20 hours per week.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid drivers license, class D driver's license and have a good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Follows and upholds Scenic Living Communities’ philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
- Assist with in-house activities, community events and entertainment programs that are of interest to the campus resident population
- Assist with preparing monthly activity calendar
- Ability to direct and supervise volunteers
- Provide transportation to and from scheduled community activities and supervise resident outings
