Quick Hiring: Apply today and hear back within 48 hours What You'll Do: Assist as part of a team in planning, organizing, and leading meaningful enrichment activities that support the cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Engage residents in group and one-on-one activities such as music, art, sensory experiences, and gentle movement, encouraging participation while respecting individual abilities, preferences, and dignity. Provide individualized support by escorting residents to and from activities, offering 1:1 visits for those who prefer to remain in their apartments, and using technology to enhance experiences. Observe and document resident engagement by completing initial surveys, monitoring responses during activities, and communicating changes or concerns to the care team. Support daily operations by setting up, adapting, and cleaning up activities, completing administrative duties, and assisting with tasks as assigned by the Director of Resident Life Communicate professionally with families and staff Drive the community van for recreational outings and assist residents with safe transfers on and off the vehicle.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. (required)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older. (required)
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English. (required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, and team members. (required)
  • Energetic, self-motivated team player comfortable working in a memory care setting, able to manage dementia-related behaviors, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. (required)
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English. (required)
  • Valid driver’s license required; must be able to safely operate the community van. (required)

  • Experience working with seniors. (preferred)
