Activities Assistant
About The Position
Napa Post Acute is looking for a fun, compassionate, and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team! If you love working with seniors and want a role where you can truly brighten someone’s day, this is the job for you. As an Activities Assistant, you’ll help plan and lead engaging programs that support our residents’ social, emotional, and mental well-being, including: Assisting with daily group and one-on-one activities Helping with games, crafts, music, exercise groups, and special events Encouraging resident participation and creating meaningful connections Assisting with transporting residents to activities as needed Supporting holiday celebrations and community/family events Helping keep activity areas organized and supplies stocked
Requirements
- A positive attitude and a genuine love for working with seniors
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Creativity, patience, and reliability
- Ability to follow directions and support a structured daily schedule
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting is a plus (but not required)
