About The Position

Mission Valley Post Acute is looking for an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the Activity Director in running a creative and interactive activities program that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Assist the Activity Director in implementing a variety of engaging activities designed to meet the interests and needs of residents. Ensure that all activities comply with current federal, state, local, and corporate standards and regulations. Help assess the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident to tailor activities accordingly. Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages resident participation in activities. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write
Capable of professionally responding to inquiries from visitors and residents.

Nice To Haves

Preference for candidates with at least one year of experience in a long-term care facility
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are encouraged to apply and may receive a higher pay rate.
