Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stay organized, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to obtain a King County Food Handler Permit within 2 weeks of hire
- Ability to assist with light physical tasks (lifting up to 25 lbs., mobility support, standing/walking for extended periods)
- Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- A genuine interest in working with older adults
Nice To Haves
- Experience in activities, recreation, event planning, or caregiving (professional or volunteer) preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with group and one-on-one activities tailored to resident interests
- Adapt activities to meet varying cognitive and physical abilities
- Encourage participation and build positive relationships with residents
- Help maintain a clean, organized activity space and supplies
- Stay flexible-adjust plans as needed to meet changing needs throughout the day
