We rely on our Activities Assistant to collaborate with dedicated staff to ensure resident satisfaction and happiness, as well as, promote positive relationships between residents, families, and staff. Requirements
- Knowledge of the practical application of recreation service programs.
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete required documentation as assigned.
- Contribute to resident care planning preparation.
- Provide individual programming as assigned.
- Maintain recreation department supplies and equipment
- Work with volunteers as assigned
- Assist with planning and leadership of special events
