About The Position

Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant in our SNF/LTC Unit. We are looking for someone with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA Certified preferred
• CPR or First Aid Certified
• Prior experience with senior adults with dementia and Alzheimer’s preferred

Responsibilities

• Activities assistants collaborate with other activity coordinators to schedule, plan and produce events for the residents of the institution for which they work.
• Specifically, these professionals make decisions about which activities might be most valuable for their audience, then plan each part of the event.
• They're also responsible for creating a collection of activities that offer different types of stimulation, including those that offer opportunities for mental, physical, social and emotional growth and enjoyment.
