About The Position
At Rosewood Greenbrier, our Activities Assistant (Lifestyle Assistant) helps bring energy, engagement, and joy to everyday life for our residents and families. This role is all about helping residents live fully — socially, physically, and emotionally — while supporting a vibrant, seven-day-a-week lifestyle program. The primary responsibility of the Lifestyle Assistant is to support the Lifestyle Director in providing a full, engaging social and activity program for all residents and families. You’ll help encourage socialization, improve daily living skills, expand personal interests, promote physical activity, and support lifelong learning — all while helping residents maintain and grow their unique lifestyles. Requirements
- Outgoing, creative, and dependable
- Comfortable speaking to groups and encouraging participation
- Enjoys working with seniors and building relationships
- Organized, flexible, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Activities, recreation, or senior living experience is a plus — but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lifestyle Director in planning and conducting daily activities for residents
- Help coordinate and lead games, crafts, fitness, music, education, and special events
- Assist with creating, posting, and distributing the monthly Lifestyle calendar
- Facilitate and support resident council meetings and other resident meetings
- Help assess residents’ social interests and lifestyle preferences
- Assist with scheduling resident transportation and community outings
- Be prepared to drive community vehicles as needed
- Contact community groups and volunteers to support programs
- Set up, decorate, and break down activity spaces
- Pitch in with other duties as assigned (full job description provided)
