About The Position

Juniper Communities is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant for our Williamstown, NJ location. This role involves assisting in the creation, planning, and implementation of the Connections program, which focuses on daily activities for our residents. The Activities Assistant will ensure maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as their physical, mental, and psychological well-being. The position requires working Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour. Requirements

• High School Diploma; a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field (Preferred)
• Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (Preferred)
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver's license (Required)
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult
• Certification in CPR and First Aid

Responsibilities

• Entering resident information in multiple systems
• Attending care plan meetings with families and residents
• Collecting resident profiles
• Assisting in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community
