About The Position

The Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued. Requirements

Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State (training can also be provided by the community)
Creativity
Supportive Presence (ability to truly connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs)
Teamwork (ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents, cooperating closely with the care team)
Time Management (balancing daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep)
