About The Position

The Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued. Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State (training can also be provided by the community)
  • Creativity
  • Supportive Presence (ability to truly connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs)
  • Teamwork (ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents, cooperating closely with the care team)
  • Time Management (balancing daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep)
