About The Position

Dublin Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, energetic Activities Aide to join our team! The Activities Aide plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and assisting with engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities. PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Originally founded in 2013, the organization now consists of hundreds of independent operating subsidiaries, as well as ancillary and support services. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment screening

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in long-term care or activities preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily group and one-on-one activities
  • Encourage resident participation and promote socialization
  • Support special events, holidays, and community outings
  • Document resident participation and progress as required
  • Transport residents to and from activities as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized activity environment
  • Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs
