We are looking for a fun, compassionate and self driven individual to be a part of our Residents' lives! Must be willing to take TRT certification course and Licensure. Responsibilities: Participate in a wide variety of activities to meet the different resident interests, attributes and skill levels Encourage and promote resident participation in activities through internal, formal and informal channels Familiarize yourself with residents of the facility Observe residents’ ability to perform daily ADL’s and social skills, communicate potential difficulties or opportunities to the appropriate staff member When called upon, participate in care planning and other meetings, formal and informal Encourage and motivate residents in all areas, providing assistance when necessary Participate in all training offered by employer Present a professional demeanor that communicates a corporate philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in each resident’s needs Education and/or Experience Requirements: Engaging, outgoing personality that can also exercise calm and patience TRT certification strongly preferred Motivated self starter who can operate with little supervision, Strong team player Basic computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills “Consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the applicable federal and state civil rights laws, it is the policy of Rocky Mountain Care, LLC and its affiliates and managed entities (together hereafter referred to as “RMC”), to provide reasonable accommodation when requested by a qualified applicant or employee with a disability, unless such accommodation would cause an undue hardship. Qualifications Required Qualifications The Activities Aide must possess: Current/ Active Food Handlers Permit Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older Therapeutic Recreation Technician (TRT) is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills
