Activities Aide- St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center- Full Time Rotating
About The Position
The Activities Aide is responsible for assisting the Manager Activities/Volunteer Services in the implementation of the Activities Program so that the resident’s physical, mental and psychological needs are met. Must work minimum 1 evening per week. Rotating weekends & holidays The Activities Aide is responsible for assisting the Manager Activities/Volunteer Services in the implementation of the Activities Program so that the resident’s physical, mental and psychological needs are met. Will assist with planning, setting up, and running group activities. Attends resident care conferences. Assists with maintaining attendance records and inputting information into electronic medical records. Must be able to work one or two evenings per week, every other weekend and alternating holidays.
Requirements
- High School graduate
- Ability to relate and interact with the residents, volunteers, and the general public
- Ability to adapt program to suit the environment or current resident condition
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience is preferred.
