About The Position
Dublin Post Acute is seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate Activities Aide to join our team! The Activities Aide assists in planning, organizing, and implementing engaging programs and activities that enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in long-term care or activities preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to be creative, patient, and compassionate
- Must enjoy working with the elderly population
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily recreational activities and group programs
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Provide one-on-one visits with residents as needed
- Help decorate and prepare materials for events and holidays
- Support transportation of residents to and from activities
- Document participation per facility guidelines
