About The Position

The Activist or Scholar in Residence for Publicly Engaged Humanities at Southwestern University is a unique opportunity aimed at enhancing and inspiring publicly engaged work focused on social justice. This in-person residency, funded by a grant from the Mellon Foundation, allows the resident to pursue a self-designed project while collaborating with students, faculty, and community members.
