About The Position

Active Directory Administrator Key Role: Be responsible for the operation and design of the enterprise directory services. Use advanced technical expertise with strategic oversight to ensure stability, scalability, and security of directory platforms across multiple environments and entities. Apply deep knowledge of Active Directory, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in projects involving multi-forest management, M & A integrations, modernization of legacy environments, and decommissioning of outdated infrastructure. Use skills in Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity management. Automate using PowerShell, troubleshoot authentication issues, and adhere to DoD and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience administering and maintaining Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 environments
  • 2+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, Group Policy Objects ( GPOs ) , DNS, DHCP, and File Services
  • 2+ years of experience handling Active Directory replication, Sites & Services configuration, and FSMO role management
  • 2+ years of experience performing regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of hardware and sof tware using STIG Manager, ACAS, or Eval STIG to ensure compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides ( STIGs ) , vendor hardening guides, or industry standards
  • Experience utilizing PowerShell for automation and routine administrative tasks
  • Experience supporting hybrid identity environments, including AD Federation Services and F5 BIG-IP
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving authentication issues related to LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience administrating Azure Active Directory and single sign-on
  • Experience troubleshooting various Micro sof t Windows Server platforms roles and features
  • Knowledge of security protocols, compliance, and best practices related to identity management
