The Role: We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Active Chassis Virtual Calibration team at GM’s Milford Proving Grounds. Our team develops and delivers world-class vehicle dynamics performance to our customers through innovative Active Chassis Controls features (ABS, TCS, ESC, VAF, VdCore, VMC). The RLM Development Engineer is responsible for supporting calibration virtualization efforts across these controls features. What You'll Do: Work across cross-functional teams to enable workflows - calibration team, SIE, VDDV, etc. Build up procedures and test surfaces for calibration procedures Train users and supporting with debug assistance Develop and maintaining processing scripts to automate package quality verification Develop and maintaining processing scripts to evaluate performance changes over SW updates Support AI/Automation team in developing automated calibration tools Manage tools migration to take advantage of new functionality Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications): BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience (vehicle dynamics, chassis/driveline performance, brake controls, calibration, etc.) Demonstrated initiative to drive for results in areas of innovation and new development Thorough physics-based knowledge of vehicle dynamics, brake systems, tire performance Exercises independent judgment with minimal input from leadership High level of analytical problem solving skills where problems are unusual and difficult Ability to understand complex simulation infrastructure and environment (CarSim, GMSim, XiL background) Flexibility to investigate a variety of testing needs Basic coding skills (Matlab, Python, etc.) Understanding of Autosar Understanding Comms framework
