About The Position
The Staff Pad has partnered with a growing technology services organization to hire a Network Engineer for its Activations Team. This role plays a key part in delivering successful network installations and ensuring a high -quality client experience. The Network Engineer collaborates with project management, design, and client -facing teams to deploy and support enterprise network environments. This position focuses on network activations, technical execution, documentation, and ongoing optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of network engineering experience supporting enterprise networks
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, Wi -Fi, and network security
- Experience with Fortigate firewalls and enterprise switching/wireless platforms (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus)
- Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking (VLANs, ACLs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong communication and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Support network installation and activation projects from handoff through completion
- Serve as the engineering point of contact for assigned high -speed internet deployments
- Execute technical work aligned with established standards and best practices
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
- Ensure compliance with technical and branding standards
- Recommend process and configuration improvements
- Manage, resolve, or escalate incidents in accordance with SLAs
