Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is crucial.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in distribution marketing/trade marketing roles with specific expertise in distributor-based businesses and budget controls.
  • Strong understanding of how sales and marketing organizations operate through distribution channels and multi markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships internally and externally along with strong influencing and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate diverse market conditions and demographic factors optimally.
  • Robust analytical skills combined with proficiency in presentation delivery, project management, and budget management.
  • A proactive self-starter who is commercially driven with a natural curiosity for continuous improvement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Become the guide in Brand Activation at the Moment of Choice for their markets and act as the advisor for brand to ensure commercial reality is baked into brand/consumer plans.
  • Lead the marketing BTL cycle brief activities and the marketing calendar to drive brand growth and enhance market share across markets.
  • Lead BTL marketing investments to ensure optimized delivery of annual targets.
  • Collaborate with various customers to develop and execompleteand, market strategies aimed at achieving conversion at the point of sale.
  • Support the CP Manager by chipping in to the planning process with deep customer insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct pre-Measurement & Evaluations (financial analysis) and prepare post Measurement & Evaluations (financial analysis) for all marketing BTL activities within the timelines defined in the Measurement & Evaluations Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with cycle activity plans (brand and category plans) across markets, applying well-defined Scorecard metrics and trade marketing drivers.
  • Supervise Marketing BTL spend, reporting its evolution to key Diageo collaborators. Work closely with distributors on budget management, follow up on claims processes, and ensure alignment with assigned budgets. Prepare claims letters for approval as needed.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify opportunities for growth and provide actionable solutions to drive incremental market share.
