The Lead Windows Administrator oversees endpoint management and IT workflows, ensuring a secure and seamless end-user experience. This role leads patch management, software deployment, encryption, and automation activities to maintain system integrity and performance.

  • Lead patch management and ensure thorough testing of patches.
  • Monitor and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Optimize IT workflows using automation tools like PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, and Intune.
  • Be onsite at the Fairchild Building in Washington, DC five days per week.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Windows administration.
  • CompTIA A+, MCSE, or equivalent certification.
  • Expert-level experience in Windows support, imaging, patch management, and automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Intune.
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions for Active Directory.
