About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide security services at assigned locations in Huntingdon Valley, PA. The position involves monitoring and reporting activities, conducting foot and vehicular patrols, and responding to emergency situations. The officer will be responsible for enforcing site rules and regulations, writing detailed reports, and maintaining daily activity reports. Requirements

  • Valid ACT 235 certification.
  • Own firearm, duty belt, and holster.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current or prior military experience or college education in the security field is desirable.
  • 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred, especially in security, law enforcement, or customer service.
  • Valid registration/permit/license required by the state of employment.
  • Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Energetic and focused personality with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, or military.
  • Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.

Responsibilities

  • Execute security services as outlined in the Post Order Manual and company policies.
  • Conduct walking, vehicular, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols of assigned areas.
  • Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, and emergency situations.
  • Perform site-specific duties including customer service, loss prevention, and lobby security.
  • Write detailed incident reports and notify appropriate individuals as needed.
  • Know and implement site-specific policies and emergency response activities.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain acceptable attendance and grooming standards.
  • Participate in required orientation and training programs.
  • Respond to incidents during shifts in accordance with Post Orders and Use of Force Policy.
  • Conduct security and customer service functions as directed.
