About The Position

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide security services at assigned locations in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves monitoring and reporting activities, conducting foot and vehicular patrols, and responding to emergency situations. The position is outside and requires current ACT 235 certification, as well as ownership of a firearm, duty belt, and holster. The pay is $18.00 per hour, with a schedule of Monday to Friday on the 2nd shift.

Requirements

• Current ACT 235 certification.
• Own firearm, duty belt, and holster.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred, especially in security, law enforcement, or customer service.
• Valid registration/permit/license required by the state of employment.
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and ability to de-escalate situations.

Nice To Haves

• Current or prior military experience or college education in the security field.
• Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting.
• Conduct foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrols of applicable areas.
• Report suspicious activities and persons, and write detailed narrative reports.
• Maintain daily activity reports (DAR's) and enforce post orders, site rules, regulations, and policies.
• Respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
• Identify and report security threats, unsafe conditions, or hazards.
• Participate in all company and site required orientation and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Use of Force Policy during incidents.
