About The Position

As an Acquisitions Specialist , you are the source for generating more inventory, with a better selection and ultimately helping the dealership sell more vehicles. No automotive experience necessary. We provide an extensive two-week training program to get you familiar with all systems (vAuto, VinSolutions, KBB, Cars.com), scripts and word tracks, through role playing and appointment setting.

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive acquisitions, buy centers, or related fields.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of vehicle market values and conditions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Identify and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles through auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers.
Negotiate vehicle prices and terms with sellers to maximize profitability.
Evaluate vehicle condition and market value to make informed purchasing decisions.
Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure inventory meets customer needs and operational standards.
Maintain accurate records of acquisitions and stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions.
