About The Position

The Acquisitions Specialist at Alpine Air is responsible for assisting the Director of Regulatory Compliance in managing the record-keeping processes for nonoperational and newly acquired aircraft. This role involves maintaining, auditing, and researching aircraft records to ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in all aspects of aircraft and engine record keeping.
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations and OEM documentation.
  • Exceptional managerial skills.
  • Excellent aviation maintenance knowledge.
  • High attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word (expert level).
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to type 50 WPM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma required; BS/BA in administration or relevant field will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance of historical and current files of aircraft maintenance log pages, 337s, AD's, and work orders.
  • Research aircraft and component hours/cycles.
  • Compile consistent and complete historical records of all aircraft, engines, propellers and related components.
  • Audit inspection documents for compliance with FAR 91.417 and FAA requirements.
  • Assist in preparation of materials and/or reports requested by other departments or the FAA.
  • Generate forecasts of upcoming maintenance events for vendors.
  • Build aircraft inspections and components in tracking program.
  • Communicate with vendors for scheduling and needs.
  • Audit vendor work orders and 337s; verify all 8130s or work orders for life-limited and overhauled parts (both historical and newly installed parts).
  • Familiarize with aircraft, engine, propeller manufacturers' limitations, SBs, Chapter 4, Chapter 5.
