About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Special Projects Manager. Under direction of Director of Executive Projects, the project manager is responsible for developing, coordinating and executing comprehensive project plans related to acquisitions, including asset purchases and contract transitions. This role ensures that acquisition-related initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with strategic objectives. The Project Manager works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners (sellers) to manage timelines, risks and deliverables throughout the acquisition lifecycle. This position pays between $65k/yr. – $75k/yr. depending on related experience and state hired in plus bonus opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Three years’ project management experience required
  • Two years’ supervisory experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products and Visio. IMB Cognos a plus
  • Thorough understanding of our product lines, location operations, billing practices and standard financial reports
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ project management experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Rotech product lines, location operations, billing practices and standard financial reports
  • Exceptional relationship management and customer service skills, responding to the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrates ability to accurately identify project needs.
  • Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills with ability to build processes and metrics to determine where the team excels and how to improve results and completion times.
  • Ability to create and deliver effective, targeted, high quality presentations and training materials
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to hold self and others accountable for high-quality, timely and effective results.
  • Attention to detail composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines, often under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and track status of multiple projects of equal importance
  • Ability to work autonomously and to take direction as needed.
  • Excellent written and facilitator skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products, particularly Excel
  • Lift and carry up to 10 pounds around the office at times
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. during travel
  • Regularly review documents with small print
  • Utilize computer for extensive hours

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes, organizes, and manages projects, as assigned by the Director of Executive Projects.
  • Defines, designs, drives and documents action plans to successfully accomplish project goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g. finance, legal, operations, IT, HR) to ensure alignment on goals, milestones and responsibilities
  • Track project progress and provide regular status updates to sellers, leadership and key stakeholders
  • Continuously evaluate project outcomes and recommend process improvements for future acquisitions
  • Completes other projects and duties that may be assigned
  • Participates in department and company meetings, events, etc. as determined by Supervisor.
  • Submits updated project reports to Director of Executive Projects and Senior Leadership as requested.
  • Remains current in Company processes, policies, and strategies through review of pertinent publications, newsletters, webinars, workshops and self-study.
  • Ensures the scope of the project fits the budget and that the staff completes each phase of the project within the scheduled timeline and budget.
  • Creates and maintains relationships with a cross sector range of project stakeholders including Senior Executives.
