Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Strategy and Documentation SME supporting a high priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This is a full time on-site position located at Hanscom AFB, MA. Responsibilities The Acquisition Strategy and Documentation SME provides strategic and tactical acquisition program planning and documentation support to enable high priority mission capabilities across HNI programs, with a strong emphasis on Zero Trust (ZT) initiatives. This role requires expert-level experience supporting acquisition strategy development, statutory and regulatory documentation for ACAT I programs, program execution support, and senior leader engagement. The candidate will support the development, review, and delivery of acquisition documentation, including RFP documentation and program status briefings, while aligning schedules, cost, risk baselines, and test activities to support successful execution of Zero Trust capabilities. Duties include, but not limited to: Provide comprehensive acquisition and program management support aligned to DoDI 5000.02, including strategic and tactical program planning (short-term, mid-term, and long-term) in support of mission capability execution. Support program leadership by applying qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, analyze, and measure acquisition program effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. Assist the Program Manager in assessing performance against schedule, budget, and risk baselines, recommending viable solutions, and developing Courses of Action (COAs) to address program challenges. Support development and alignment of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) with program execution activities, including coordination with Purple Team Assessment testing and other supporting events. Research, analyze, and assess development, production, and deployment activities associated with network and equipment upgrades, recommending innovative strategies to meet cost, schedule, performance, and Zero Trust testing objectives. Develop and deliver high-quality acquisition and program documentation, including briefings, documents, plans, schedules, program status updates, and senior leader materials. Collaborate with a diverse group of multi-MAJCOM, program office, and HNI stakeholders to determine requirements, resolve scheduling conflicts, identify gaps, and provide proactive solutions. Plan, schedule, and facilitate exchanges and meetings with the program office team, stakeholders, and industry to understand requirements and emerging commercial technologies that may close warfighter capability gaps. Support planning and execution for new ACAT I programs by formulating, recommending, and drafting acquisition strategies and associated statutory/regulatory documentation in a timely and effective manner. Support all Acquisition Strategy reviews, develop supporting documentation, and provide support for Government development and review of draft RFP and final RFP documentation. Support development of acquisition reports including statutory and regulatory reporting such as DAES and MAR. Support program management reviews, senior-level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews, including preparation and packaging of senior-level briefing materials. Track and report on Zero Trust security performance metrics (desired), ensuring leadership has clear visibility into program progress and capability outcomes. Leverage experience and judgment to independently execute tasks, oversee junior and mid-level team members, and support high-visibility program activities under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
