You’ll plan and support high-level forums, prepare written products, draft policy papers, and work between workstreams and forums. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex ideas and policies in support of critical joint missions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the DoD acquisition enterprise, evaluating acquisition policies and assessing defense industrial base health indices
  • Experience spearheading organizational transformation initiatives or translating long-term strategic vision into actionable plans
  • Experience preparing and coordinating government correspondence directed to senior department leadership, legislative branch offices, foreign governments or agencies, international organizations, or private organizations
  • Experience drafting talking points, briefs, policy papers, and strategic messaging products for senior government officials
  • Experience in the facilitation of high-level forums, councils, or working groups
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in the DoD acquisition enterprise
  • Experience leveraging the Defense Acquisition System and relevant frameworks to develop and evaluate acquisition strategies, acquisition program baselines, risk reduction plans, or international cooperation plans
  • Knowledge of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and contract approaches, such as multiyear procurement, advance procurement, and Other Transaction Authority contracts, defense resourcing, and Foreign Military Sales
  • Ability to manage the priorities of a fast-paced and evolving organization and integrate the priorities of multiple workstreams to achieve positive outcomes
