About The Position

PACE LLC is currently seeking an Acquisition Specialist for a full-time position. The Acquisition Specialist will provide a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of the customer's acquisition activities. This position supports the PACE LLC government contracting client, which is a United States federal agency.

Requirements

• Experience directly supporting major defense acquisition program(s) or comparable commercial operations as an acquisition subject matter expert/program analyst
• Experience providing strategic advice to program executive officers and senior acquisition officials on acquisition pathway selection, tailoring strategies, and risk mitigation
• Experience navigating complexities of the Defense Acquisition System and providing authoritative advice to senior leadership
• Experience working with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and emerging acquisition reform initiatives
• 5 years' experience in Major Systems Program Management for DoD, or 5 years' commercial experience in a program integration environment providing strategic level analysis
• Direct experience working within a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) or Major Automated Information System (MAIS)
• Agile acquisition strategy development experience
• Experience and knowledge of other transaction authority
• Experience preparing detailed acquisition strategies for major defense programs
• Experience reviewing, processing, and formulating general strategy products
• This position would require US Citizenship and a TS clearance or ability to hold a TS clearance

Nice To Haves

• Commercial Solutions Opening experience a big plus
• DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management Contracting or equivalent preferred.
