About The Position
Nakupuna Solutions is seeking an Acquisition Specialist who will play a crucial role in the planning, organizing, and execution of tasks and projects throughout the entire acquisition life cycle. This position is vital for ensuring that client expectations are not only met but exceeded in the quality of all government deliverables, particularly in support of the Operations and Integration Directorate of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The Acquisition Specialist will be involved in various aspects of acquisition management, including the development and review of acquisition strategies, documentation, and business cases that support acquisition decisions. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of acquisition-related laws, policies, and regulations, as well as the ability to manage contracts effectively. The Acquisition Specialist will provide support for services and supplies, including major system acquisitions, and will execute the full life-cycle acquisition requirements. This includes utilizing automated systems such as Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), and Contract and Agreement Deliverable and Invoice Management System (CADIMS) to track and monitor acquisition status, funding, implementation, and closeout. Additionally, the Acquisition Specialist will support the development of requirements, conduct market research, and prepare procurement documentation to assist with Intragovernmental Transactions, including Interagency Agreements (IAAs), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), and Economy Act Orders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical skill set and the ability to identify and resolve conflicting areas of program concerns, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and Program Management Office requirements.
