Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Program Systems Engineer (Journeyman) supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EBD-Attack Division). This position provides engineering and technical support from concept development through fielding and sustainment of air armament and conventional munitions systems. The Journeyman Engineer supports systems engineering, technical reviews, requirements analysis, trade studies, and documentation development in accordance with DoD acquisition policy. The position includes support to international armaments cooperation and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) activities, as applicable. This is a full-time onsite position at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The Journeyman Acquisition Program Engineer shall provide engineering support across the acquisition life cycle, including material solution analysis, technology development, engineering and manufacturing development, production, deployment, and sustainment phases. This position supports a wide range of armament and munitions systems, including missiles, bombs, cruise missiles, directed energy systems, warheads, fuzes, seekers, aircraft integration systems, munitions handling equipment, and related subsystems.
