Torch Technologies is seeking an Acquisition Program Operations Research Analyst Principal to join the team. Torch Technologies is a 100% employee-owned business dedicated to providing superior research, development, and engineering services to the Department of Defense. As defense contractors, the services we provide directly support the warfighter. This position is located at Hill AFB, UT. As an Acquisition Program Operations Research Analyst Principal your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Perform work that involves applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. Perform needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions. Consult with customers to identify and recommend requirements. Recommend overall functional and systems requirements and specifications. Conduct business process reengineering and feasibility studies and trade-off analyses. Prepare business cases for the application of IT solutions. Recommend system scope and objectives. Develop cost estimates for new or modified systems. Integrate all systems components (e.g., procedures, databases, and policies). Plan systems implementation; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/ cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process. Develop organizational analyses, benchmarking, and communications plans. Facilitate organizational off-sites and assist with brainstorming and decision-making tools, and their resultant reports. Lead strategic alignment exercises within localized organizations (e.g. Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)) and across enterprises. Use manpower tools to conduct what-if organizational analysis to optimally align manpower across existing and emerging programs. Use task-to-manpower organizational modeling tools and deliver the resultant output in report format for use in manpower assessment, process flow, planning, and optimization. Support implementation and execution of Agile software execution in concert with Government and weapon system prime contractors and suppliers. Develop Net-Ready Key Performance Parameter (NR-KPP) documentation, Information Support Plans (ISPs), Information Assurance Support Plans (IASP). Provide training on DoDAF policy, processes, procedures, and tools. In addition to the requirements in 3.3, the Contractor shall perform work that involves applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations.
