The contractor shall provide acquisition program management support for new and ongoing projects. Acquisition program analysis support tasks touch every aspect of the acquisition process, including technology development and integrating engineering, program control, foreign disclosure, test and deployment, configuration management (CM), production and manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics support. The contractor shall have mastery of the acquisition process and areas relating to acquisition policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, best practices, and lessons learned. The contractor shall execute the following tasks: Essential Duties: Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and all customers. Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines to effectively assist programs to deliver and sustain USAF warfighting capabilities. Draw conclusions and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance. Develop and draft high quality acquisition documentation. Interpret department and center digital transformation strategies and tailor implementation according to program and portfolio needs. Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management assignments and activities. Program/project integration. Develop and maintain a program's Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to projects and program challenges, and advise project leads and project engineers on all matters of acquisition management. Advise program leadership on strategic planning regarding capability development and demonstration on the program. Provide oversight of program information assurance tasks associated with classified networks and report status directly to the program manager. Support the program director from time to time at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events. Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff.
