About The Position

Martek Global Services, Inc. (“Martek”) is working a proposal with the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board Policy and Acquisition Support Services. We are currently looking for an Acquisition Management Specialist with the required specialized training and experience outlined below. The Acquisition Management Specialist would provide acquisition management support to program offices by developing, reviewing, and refining acquisition documentation and supporting procurement lifecycle activities. Serving as a key advisor ensuring clarity, compliance, and effectiveness of acquisition packages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Acquisition, or related field)
  • 5+ years federal acquisition experience
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and acquisition lifecycle
  • Experience supporting SOW/PWS development
  • Excellent communication and training delivery skills

Nice To Haves

  • FAC-C or DAWIA certification
  • Experience supporting policy or acquisition training programs

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review acquisition documentation including SOWs, PWSs, SOOs, Acquisition Plans, and Market Research Reports
  • Support pre-solicitation package development and validation
  • Assist in proposal evaluation documentation and coordination activities
  • Track procurement actions and provide status reporting to stakeholders
  • Deliver training sessions to program offices and COR community on acquisition processes
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and efficiencies
  • Support maintenance of acquisition templates and resource libraries
