About The Position

Mayvin is seeking an Acquisition Integrator to support USASOC, partnering closely with the warfighter to advise on long-term emerging capability investments, ensure alignment with legal guidance, and remain attuned to evolving policies and Executive Order mandates. This role serves as the critical link between commodity groups, integrating and deconflicting cross-enterprise capability requirements to ensure strategic alignment. The Acquisition Integrator must demonstrate experience shaping requirements across a diverse set of technologies spanning Lethality and Soldier Mobility (LSM), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (C4ISRT), and Information Operations (IO). This position supports the development of a cohesive and integrated requirements foundation, enabling efficient development, testing, and fielding; synchronizing efforts across multiple stakeholders; and ensuring compliance with legal guidance and current policy mandates to effectively deliver capabilities in support of United States Army Special Operations Command. While a specific technical background is not required, the ideal candidate will have proven experience operating across the acquisition lifecycle, navigating legal and policy considerations, and coordinating across technical domains to support effective and organized real-world operations. Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree
  • Advanced degree (desired)
  • DAWIA II in Program Management (required)/Level III (highly desired)
  • Lean Six Sigma Certified, e.g. Green Belt/Yellow Belt/Black Belt (desired but not required)
  • A minimum of 16 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both professional and technical capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.
  • Experience with government and DoW Acquisition Management systems, to include: requirements analysis, database and portal design, script development, configuration and management, maintenance, and security)
  • Expertise in managing and maintaining relational internal SQL databases and MS SharePoint Portal sites (desired)
  • Extremely strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, written and visual presentation skills.
  • Self-starter, self-directed with the ability to work independently in support of the organizations strategic goals and objectives and effectively within internal and across enterprise cross-functional integrated product teams.
  • Maintains technical competency and applicable industry certifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in or supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) – understanding of SOF organizational structures, missions and culture
  • Strong understanding of both industry and DoW specific systems engineering principles, standards, and best practices
  • Experience with acquisition of two or more different types of technologies that fall within LSM, C4ISRT, and IO
  • Demonstrated expertise in Test and Evaluation (T&E) of complex systems
  • Experience working with or leading interdisciplinary teams to build and assemble prototypes
  • Experience working with non-technical customers to define product solutions to user problems
  • Experience working with legal counterparts and acquisition policy
  • Comfortable working as part of a very small team
  • Comfortable advising multiple other teams on an ad-hoc basis

Responsibilities

  • Align, review, and de-conflict requirements across disciplines
  • Advise decision makers on best value, highest return-on-investment requirements and project plans
  • Serve as a technical advisor for matrixed teams of acquisition professionals, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to functional design specifications and integration requirements and acquisition policy
  • Translate technical requirements from engineering and operational teams into clear, concise, and actionable documentation for Program Managers and Contracting personnel
  • Synchronize efforts between various technological efforts for duplication of technology and operational use
  • Coordinate with legal to ensure acquisition processes and planned operational use abide within the law
  • Ensure Test & Evaluation (T&E) planning and execution validates cross-functional requirements.
  • Assist commodity SMEs in developing impactful test plans to inform follow-on production decisions
  • Drive and document communication with internal stakeholders, industry partners, supporting agencies and program offices throughout the acquisition process, including tracking action items and ensuring timely follow-up through task completion
