About The Position

PACE LLC is a government contracting firm based in the Washington, DC area, dedicated to providing first-class professional support, leadership, and performance to meet the goals and objectives of its clients. PACE LLC is currently seeking an Acquisition Analyst (Advanced) for a full-time position. This role involves providing a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of a United States federal agency's acquisition activities.

Requirements

  • Experience directly supporting major defense acquisition program(s) or comparable commercial operations as an acquisition subject matter expert/program analyst
  • Experience providing strategic advice to program executive officers and senior acquisition officials on acquisition pathway selection, tailoring strategies, and risk mitigation
  • Experience navigating complexities of the Defense Acquisition System and providing authoritative advice to senior leadership
  • Experience working with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and emerging acquisition reform initiatives
  • 5 years' experience in Major Systems Program Management for DoD, or 5 years' commercial experience in a program integration environment providing strategic level analysis
  • Familiar with DoD5000 series acquisitions
  • Direct experience working within a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) or Major Automated Information System (MAIS)
  • Agile acquisition strategy development experience
  • Experience and knowledge of other transaction authority
  • Experience preparing detailed acquisition strategies for major defense programs
  • Experience reviewing, processing, and formulating general strategy products
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years major program experience
  • US Citizenship
  • TS clearance or ability to hold a TS clearance

  • DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management Contracting or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of the customer's acquisition activities
  • Provide strategic advice to program executive officers and senior acquisition officials on acquisition pathway selection, tailoring strategies, and risk mitigation
  • Provide authoritative advice to senior leadership regarding the Defense Acquisition System
  • Prepare detailed acquisition strategies for major defense programs
  • Review, process, and formulate general strategy products
