About The Position

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for an Acquisition Analyst in support of PEO-SW. PEO-SW delivers a broad, mission-focused portfolio of SOF-peculiar capabilities across the land, sea, air, cyber, and space domains to ensure operators retain decisive lethality, survivability, and readiness. Through multiple program offices and close collaboration with customers, partners, and industry, PEO-SW rapidly develops, procures, and fields advanced technologies and equipment aligned to USSOCOM and Department priorities, including homeland defense, deterrence, partner interoperability, and strengthening the defense industrial base. The organization is driven by “warfighting and acquisition at the speed of war,” ensuring SOF forces are equipped to counter evolving threats and win on the objective. This is a full-time opportunity located at MacDill AFB, FL

Requirements

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
  • Certifications: DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency (DAWIA level II equivalent), and in the Program Management field, OR the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in acquisition/business, or related field
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years working in federal government acquisition projects, including:
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of teambuilding and cross-functional
  • Ability to establish performance goals and assess progress toward their achievement.
  • Ability to adjust work operations and program objectives to meet emergencies, changing programs or production requirements within available resources.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in policy development, lead major data analysis efforts, and define information requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating information in SOF AT&L databases.
  • Maintains the SOF Warrior programmatic portfolio and performs records and file maintenance on file storage repositories.
  • Prepares financial worksheet for AF9 and DD448, prepares spending plan strategies, staffs SAMP, APB, and statements of work.
  • Determine requirements; develop goals and objectives to accomplish the mission of Program Support, Government counterparts to ensure execution of programs in accordance to plans, and to modify program policies and procedures based on changes to regulations
  • Research ways to eliminate program bottlenecks and barriers to production
  • Support government counterparts in the development of solutions to program issues
  • Oversee the allocation of resources based on program requirements
